    Commonly referred to as an archwire stop, the Gurin Lock is ideal for adjustable or tie-back stop applications, spring activation, or for prevention of wire migration.
    2. Ideal for tight spots that won’t accommodate a tie-back bend in an arch wire, or in tight spaces between wide molar attachments.
    3. The Gurin lock may be used with an openwound coil spring as an adjustable activator allowing optimum spring pressure to be maintained.
    4. The Gurin lock is fixed into place by positioning the slotted bolt over the archwire and tightening the nut with the special Gurin wrench.

    Bite Turbos
    are small composite platforms placed on the inside of the upper front teeth, or on the biting surfaces of the back molars, to prevent full closure of the teeth.
    When upper and lower braces are placed at the same time, in many instances,  the top teeth bite down and contact the lower braces.
    This will cause discomfort to the patient, and will prevent the lower teeth from aligning properly.
    To avoid these unfavorable issues, Bite Turbos are placed on the back of the upper front teeth, or on the biting surfaces of the back molars, to act as ramps or speed bumps, to prevent the patient from biting all the way down.
