The Vacationer
mailbox
(136 LBS.!!) is
HAND MADE
and
ALL WELDED
using heavy duty 1/4" steel shell with 3/16" reinforced doors and a welded 2" continuous steel hinge to withstand just about anything that is dealt to it (bats, sledge hammers, rocks, pry-bars, and yes - even CARS!).  The top unlocked door is for the mail carrier to insert mail through the 1 3/4" x 11 1/2" mail slot.  Behind this top door is also an outgoing mail slot to send out mail and small packages. Be sure to use the 1/4" steel flag that is also included. A polished satin handle is also included.
1/4" thick shell with 3/16" all welded design.
Made to take a beating!
136 LBS of steel for mail security!  (Over 4x the weight of most locking mailboxes this size!).
2" x  5/8" continuous all welded steel hinge.
Top 3/16" thick door to hide outgoing mail.
Lower 3/16" thick reinforced and all welded steel door.
Everything is personally hand welded (No spot welds or rivets).
Large outgoing mail compartment (3" H x 11 1/2" W x 5" D).
1/4" Steel powder coated flag.
Pick proof 7 pin tumbler lock with 2 keys. -UPGRADABLE *See Below*.
