This listing features an 87 piece set of Vintage, (c1930's) hand painted in
Japan,
Meito China in the Arbor pattern; each piece is marked for authenticity. It is a near complete service for 12 with 7 pieces per place setting, and can easily be supplemented with 1
additional
coupe soup bowl and 5 additional teacups. (I have 1
additional teacup that is not included in this listing because it is cracked. The crack isn't terribly visible, and should anyone be interested in this for a display piece, please let me know and I will be happy to included it with your purchase free of charge.)
Design features a rich white and ivory porcelain
palette decorated with
multi-colored floral sprays,
Art Deco style tan bands, and heavy gold trim. Each piece was painstakingly hand painted to stunning perfection; sharp details, bright colors, and lush accents. An impressive set that will make a beautiful addition to any dinner service or china collection! I would consider splitting up the set and selling in groups, but prefer to sell in its entirety as a lot.
NEAR MINT condition; which is incredible given
its
age! Super clean with no nicks, dings, fleabites, chips, cracks, or discoloration to the pattern, except where noted and photographed.

Creamer has small chip on bottom rim as seen in picture #10
One teacup has fleabite on rim, one has small nick on underside of rim just above handle; neither mark is very noticeable. Both marks can be seen in picture #11. Also, some gold loss on the underside of the teacup handles; not noticeable when cup is sitting properly. Can be seen in picture #9 on the cups facing away from the camera
Gravy boat has small chip on underside of base plate rim; incredibly unnoticeable from the top. Pictured in last photograph
As this is a large collection that requires very careful packaging, multiple boxes, and insurance, the listed shipping cost is an estimate on the higher end of the spectrum to ensure the contents are well cared for during their travels. Any shipping overage charges of this estimate will be refunded to the buyer.
The listed handling time is 5 days as this is such a large collection, but would very likely be 2-3 days at most.
